Earlier this morning, I summoned myself to appear.
\nI could hear from the tone of my voice that I was upset –
\nNot that it was anything unusual.<\/p>\n
I was one of those people who was in a hurry –
\nAnd I had decided it was that time of the month again (to visit),
\nWhich always made me cranky.
\n“It\u2019s gonna grow and grow,” I thought.
\n“It always does.”<\/p>\n
I removed my hairpins and shook myself down.
\nI was proud.
\nI had a natural shine.
\nI adjusted my temperature and I stepped out under the sun,
\nTaking with me a big mirror in which to watch.<\/p>\n
