I’m trying to understand some old cod.
The usual scene is that a cod walks into a cod shop, says
“Hey, I’ll have a cod”
And the cod behind the counter says
“But think of yourself”.
The scene used instead
Is that a cod walks into a mirror shop says
“Hey, I’ll have a mirror”
And the mirror behind the counter says
“Stop thinking of yourself”.
Can you suggest the reason why such a scene was used
Instead of the standard?
They sure don’t give the same experience.
What’s the significance of using the reciprocal cod?
It’s used consistently with the same cod,
But I cannot understand why.
I would appreciate any comments or
Speculations.
