Cold, Dark, Heartless Persona

Trip the light fantastic
Weigh it up between your brains
You carry around your atoms
To flip between your shadows
You trick the light, how fantastic
You’re a tantalizing devils advocate
I can taste the light upon your lips
I can slip into something more caustic
I can trip the light
I – can – trip – the – light
Can I trip the light fantastic?
Are those words even pregnant?
Do I pause to reflect
As you trip the light up (tremendous?)
With heart and head both heavy
You step lightly and trip some
Light within your thought
I thought that I could catch and store
I thought that I could trip
I think I may be pregnant
I thought that I could catch and store
I thought that I could trip
Blip!
It’s so intangibly tragic….
