The Future Is In Cache (For Technical Reasons)

Here
I plan the future of society
Opposite our number one discounter, and
The future will be glorious
Though unfulfilling,
I fish for fish
In a pond of air
And reel in the equivalent of electronic gadgets
Oh the future will be glorious
Once I’m done with this killing.
Here
I plan for the plot of the grand unveiling of society
Marked up at a premium, and
The future will be glorious
Though shrill and disturbing,
How I long for this cache
Of archived history to be used up
So that we can move swiftly
To the future, which is glorious and
Sadly stillborn.
